FAQ: Becoming a Member of the Circle of the Foundation
Join the Circle
  1. I am currently a Member of the Circle of the Foundation. How do I renew my membership?
    1. Click the button 'Join the Circle' above.
    2. Review the benefits for the various membership categories and select your desired contribution level, then click 'Next.'
    3. Complete the form with your personal and billing information. Check the box on this form to indicate you are renewing and enter your FSS ID number. If you don't remember your FSS ID number, just leave that blank and we will find it for you.
    4. After completing the form and submitting your renewal, the FSS office will update your profile with your new information and expiration date and send you information about your benefits.
  2. How do I decide what membership level to choose?

    Consider what benefits are important to you. To see the benefits you will receive for various membership levels, you can:
    1. Click on the 'Join the Circle' button above
    2. View the Circle Benefits page
    3. Compare benefits on the member-select chart
  3. Do I have to join the Circle of the Foundation online?

    No. You can join by mail or fax using our print Membership Form (PDF format).

  4. What happens after I submit my membership?

    The Foundation office will process your application and email you information about accessing your online benefits (if you provide a current email address). You will also receive your FSS Circle membership card and a welcome letter in the mail.

    Applications are processed Monday — Thursday, 8:30 am — 4:00 pm, Pacific Time. Online applications are typically processed within a day during Foundation business hours. Mailed applications are usually processed within a week of receipt.
