Core Shamanism Online Community Meetings

The FSS is postponing in-person workshops and training programs during the coronavirus crisis. Though we may not be able to meet in person for a time, we have available to us many powerful digital tools for face-to-face interactions, practice, and healing. In the coming weeks, the Foundation and the FSS faculty will offer opportunities to attend video meetings, including community meetings and online shamanic training in the shamanic journey, as well as in ways shamanism can be used to help yourself, others, and our world. Once the crisis passes, FSS in-person workshops and training will be rescheduled and future online offerings will be evaluated.

FSS Core Shamanism Online Community Meetings are designed to support the shamanic community in these challenging times. We will have the opportunity to practice shamanic selfcare, share stories of hope and inspiration, and journey for ways we can personally help during the pandemic and other global crises.

These experiential meetings are hosted by FSS faculty members and will be in full video using Zoom video conferencing, with all participants able to be seen and heard. There will be opportunities to share and to interact with each other in small groups. Instructions for Zoom meeting access will be provided after registration by the host faculty member.

Community meetings are offered by the FSS as a service to the shamanic community at no cost to attendees. Zoom is free to individual users.

PARTICIPANT MEETING NEEDS. Please have handy a notebook/pen to take notes, a rattle, a drum (optional), and an eye covering (bandana or Mindfold) to block ambient light. Before the meeting, consider a comfortable chair or place to sit or lie down for journeys. The use of headphones or ear buds are suggested for an enhanced listening experience. Download participant instructions for use of Zoom, including audio/video settings.

REGISTRATION. Please see the calendar listings below to find a community meeting. You are encouraged to select a meeting in your geographic region to foster in-person connections and build community after the current crisis. For registration and information, please email the person listed as the contact for the workshop you wish to attend.

Electronic recording of audio, video, and images is not permitted during the workshop.
